Well that didn’t take long, my article was approved by 1waylinks over night. It was only around 300 words (the minimum is 250) so pretty quick to write. Using thesaurus.com I was able to come up with loads of synonyms for different words so re-writing it took hardly any time at all.
Anyway, my article was approved and has been submitted to several sites already. I set it to go out to 200 blogs at a rate of 3 per day.
My first thoughts is that I’m a little concerned about the quality of site that my articles are being posted on. Where I registered a brand new generic domain, a lot of people seem to be installing a wordpress blog on an existing name.
Again, I can’t tell you the URL’s (which I think is a good thing), but it’s things like fight-acne-today-123.com/blog2 (that’s a made up domain, just to make a point) which is someones website about acne which will have articles posted about all sorts of things.
I asked in the 1waylinks members forum (which is pretty active and has loads of good advice) and the consensus is that it doesn’t matter about the domain name. I’m not convinced, but we’ll see.
Also, it appears that all the blogs are very low Pagerank (I haven’t even seen a PR 1 blog yet) which is quite worrying as I don’t know how effective many PR 0 links will be.
Have you noticed any improvement in the blog network since you wrote this article? I was thinking of joining but if they are all low quality websites then I might look elsewhere.
